An unforgettable evening at the Miami Symphony with our Veterans and their families.

Cathy, spouse of U.S. Military Veteran Tony Zarate, had the opportunity to attend the Miami Symphony Orchestra alongside Vet Info at the gracious invitation of Conductor Eduardo Marturet and his wonderful wife, Athina Marturet.

At Vet Info, we believe healing and connection can come in many forms. Music has a unique way of bringing people together, creating moments of peace, reflection, and unity for Veterans and their loved ones. Cathy shared how evenings like this help Veterans heal, strengthen friendships, and build lasting bonds within the community.

Vet Info is proud to partner with M.I.S.O. to provide meaningful experiences that honor those who have served our country so selflessly.

Thank you to the Miami Symphony Orchestra for making nights like this truly special.

American Promise — led by Maestro Eduardo Marturet and the Miami Symphony Orchestra — celebrates a defining cultural moment as the nation approaches the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence, uniting world premieres, contemporary voices, and a timeless symphonic masterpiece in one unforgettable evening.

The concert opens with the world premiere of Karen LeFrak’s American Promise, narrated by Miami Mayor Eileen Higgins, reflecting themes of national identity and shared values. A second world premiere follows with Marcos Campos Salas’s An American in Miami, a vibrant tribute to the city’s multicultural spirit, presented as part of the official celebration of Emilio Estefan Day (March 8). Emilio Estefan, Chairman of the Board of the Miami Symphony Orchestra, will be present for the celebration, joined by global artist DJ Khaled as the evening’s Voice Over.

A major highlight of the program is Maestro Eduardo Marturet’s Unity and Glory — the official Concacaf Anthem, specially commissioned by the Confederation of North, Central America and Caribbean Association Football. As the musical emblem of one of the world’s most influential football confederations, the anthem symbolizes unity, pride, and collective aspiration across an entire region connected by sport and culture. Adding to this special moment, the official Concacaf Cup will be present at the concert, offering audiences a rare opportunity to experience a symbol of continental achievement up close.

The evening culminates with Antonín Dvořák’s Symphony No. 9 a timeless reflection on the American experience shaped by migration, hope, and transformation.

American Promise invites audiences to reflect on shared identity and the power of music to unite cultures — embracing a new sound, a new promise, and a new era.
