Vet Info attends Miami Gardens – Military Families Back to School Night. 8/8/2026

Military Families Back to School Day Vet Info was proud to join the Miami Gardens Military Advisory Committee for an amazing Military Families Back to School Day, bringing Veterans, military families, and members of the local community together for a day focused on supporting our children and strengthening our military community.

Families received backpacks and school supplies to help local students get ready for a successful school year. The event also featured a picnic-style meal, giving families an opportunity to relax, enjoy great food, and spend time together in a welcoming community environment. Vet Info was also honored to support the safety and well-being of the families in attendance. Working alongside community partners, families were provided with gun locks, while Narcan was provided by The Robin Foundation, helping ensure Veterans and their families have access to important safety resources.

Events like this demonstrate what can happen when military organizations, Veterans, nonprofits, and community partners come together with one common goal: supporting our military families and making our communities stronger. Vet Info is proud to stand beside our Veterans, Active-Duty service members, military families, and the communities that support them.

New Vet Info Video – “You Don’t Fight Alone”

A central focus of Vet Info’s mission remains suicide prevention and awareness. Leadership has been actively engaged in community outreach efforts to address the ongoing crisis, where an estimated 22 to 24 veterans lose their lives to suicide each day. As part of this initiative, Vet Info has introduced the “30 Second Challenge,” encouraging veterans and their support networks to commit to a daily check-in call of at least 30 seconds. This simple act is designed to foster connection, provide support, and create opportunities for meaningful conversations during times of need.
Vet Info remains committed to expanding its impact through programs such as Cast Off 22 and the “No Veteran Left Behind” initiative, both aimed at providing therapeutic experiences and strengthening the veteran community.
