Every Monday, something special happens on the golf course. Veterans from all walks of life come together through the partnership between Vet Info and the Miami-Dade VICTOR Program to reconnect, recharge, and keep moving forward.
Through the support of Miami-Dade County’s VICTOR Program, green fees and carts are covered so our Veterans can get out on the course without the burden of cost. Vet Info proudly supports the program by providing food, golf balls, tees, clubs, and instruction whenever available to help make each outing meaningful and enjoyable.
But this is about more than golf. It’s about camaraderie, purpose, laughter, and creating an environment where Veterans can support one another while improving both physical and mental wellness. Every swing, every conversation, and every round played together helps strengthen the bond between those who served.
Thank you to the Miami-Dade VICTOR Program for believing in the power of Veteran engagement and to every Veteran who shows up each Monday ready to encourage one another and enjoy the game together.
Cathy, spouse of U.S. Military Veteran Tony Zarate, had the opportunity to attend the Miami Symphony Orchestra alongside Vet Info at the gracious invitation of Conductor Eduardo Marturet and his wonderful wife, Athina Marturet.
At Vet Info, we believe healing and connection can come in many forms. Music has a unique way of bringing people together, creating moments of peace, reflection, and unity for Veterans and their loved ones. Cathy shared how evenings like this help Veterans heal, strengthen friendships, and build lasting bonds within the community.
Vet Info is proud to partner with M.I.S.O. to provide meaningful experiences that honor those who have served our country so selflessly.
Thank you to the Miami Symphony Orchestra for making nights like this truly special.
Golf is more than just a game… it’s connection, purpose, healing, and engagement for our Veterans. 🇺🇸⛳
Through the Victor Program and Vet Info, Veterans are finding camaraderie, support, and a community that understands that the conflict does not always end on the battlefield.
From the first tee to the final putt, golf creates opportunities to reconnect, build confidence, reduce isolation, and remind Veterans they are never alone.
Vet Info is proud to continue using recreation, mentorship, and engagement programs to make a difference in the lives of Veterans every single day.
