National Veterans Golden Age Games

Florida’s VA Tampa Healthcare System will be hosting the 2026 National Veterans Golden Age Games in Tampa from June 27 to July 2, 2026. This event, akin to the Olympics for Veterans, is expected to draw over 1,500 athletes and 3,000 volunteers from across the nation, along with extensive media coverage.

Vet Info Founder Bill Watts paid heartfelt tribute to Dr. Gloria Lewis of the Miami VA Hospital, honoring her decades of dedicated service and unwavering commitment to our nation’s Veterans. Dr. Lewis will be deeply missed by her colleagues, and most especially by the Veterans whose lives she touched with compassion, integrity, and care.
