Twenty-two veterans commit suicide every day! Of those 22, seventy-one percent commit suicide within one hour.
As a 501(c)(3) organization we work diligently to reduce the #22. We are a grassroots organization with no employees. We are a volunteer-run organization that uses the support of the community and local students to serve veterans.
“Cast off 22” is one of our mottos. We use fishing, Piscatorial Therapy, as a way to help veterans reduce stress and anxiety. We fish from kayaks, boats, and the shoreline.
As a community, we must come together to support our military heroes. We must show them that they did not fight in vain.
