West Palm Beach VA Healthcare System – Outreach Surge Event for Unsheltered Veterans

Dear Veterans and Supporters,

The West Palm Beach VA Health Care System is committed to addressing Veteran housing insecurities in South Florida. As part of this ongoing mission, we invite you to join us for a one-day Outreach Surge Event for Unsheltered Veterans on January 13, 2026, from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.

This event focuses on supporting unsheltered Veterans by connecting them with housing, benefits, and vital support services offered through the VHA Homeless Program and our community partners.

Event Location: VFW Post 9610: 354 Tenth Street, Lake Park, FL 33403

During this outreach effort, Veterans will have access to:

  • Same day shelter and transitional housing
  • On-site support and community resources
  • Assessments, eligibility and benefits enrollment

Landlords interested in renting to Veterans are welcome. Please RSVP to 561-639-1300 or email VHAWPBLandlordsforVeterans@va.gov.

Our shared goal is to ensure that every Veteran and their family have access to the support they need. Your participation, whether by attending, sharing this information, or helping connect a Veteran to services makes a meaningful difference.

If you have questions or know a Veteran who may benefit from this event, please contact your local VA Homeless Program representative at 561-639-1300.

Thank you for helping us serve those who have served our nation.

Respectfully,

West Palm Beach VA Healthcare System
