Miami Gardens – Military Monday

Join us at the Betty T. Ferguson Recreational Complex in the Birds of Paradise Room for assistance to those who have served or continue to serve.

Military Mondays is more than a program — it’s a place of connection, dignity, and care. Every Monday from 10 AM to 12 PM, veterans are invited to stop by for free hygiene supplies and to learn about vital community resources designed to support their health, stability, and well-being.

Whether it’s a small act of kindness, a listening ear, or access to life-changing assistance, Miami Gardens stands proudly with our veterans — reminding them that their service is seen, valued, and never forgotten.

Grab your fishing gear and bring the kids for a fun-filled Father’s Day morning at Southern Command!

Join MWR and Vet Info for a special Father’s Day Fishing & BBQ Event, where dads and their children can spend quality time together enjoying the outdoors, making memories, and casting a few lines.

After the fishing wraps up, stick around for a delicious BBQ and great fellowship with fellow military families, Veterans, and friends.

Whether you’re an experienced angler or just looking for a fun way to celebrate Father’s Day, this is a perfect opportunity to relax, connect, and enjoy some family time.

Broward County FL – Boccia 2026 Events

As a friendly reminder, we will have our next class of the Boccia Program tomorrow, Tuesday, May 12, 2026, 1:00 – 3:00 pm at the Sunrise Civic Center Gymnasium, 10610 W. Oakland Park Blvd., Sunrise, FL 33351. For your reference, attached are the program guidelines. The program guidelines will be displayed on site at the weekly program.

Please wear comfortable athletic clothing and closed-toed shoes, preferably sneakers, and bring a bag with a water bottle and a towel.

Doral FL, – Memorial Day 2026

Join the Doral Military Advisory Committee and Team Vet Info for a special Memorial Day Wreath Placement Ceremony at Doral Veterans Park.

Together, we will honor and remember the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our nation. This meaningful ceremony brings our community together in remembrance, gratitude, and respect for our fallen heroes.

Veterans, Active-Duty Service Members, Military Families, and community members are all warmly invited to attend. Please dress comfortably and join us for this heartfelt morning of unity, reflection, and patriotism.

We look forward to standing together as one community to remember those who gave all.

Arrive early for Coffee and to meeting others – 8:30
