U.S. Southern Command Army Birthday 5K Run
U.S. Souther Command will be hosting a 5K run in honor of the Army’s Birthday on June 14th, 2024 starting at 6am. You must go to Gate 2 to sign in and register. We will add more information to this post once we have it available. 
Armed Forces Day Run – Costa del Sol
May 18th 2024 @ 8 AM. Honoring our Armed Forces at Costa Del Sol community. This will be a free event run/walk for our military active and veterans of doral and miami dade . As you know May 18th is Armed Forces Day and we wanted to do something special in Costa Del Sol for our heroes.
Earth Day at US Southern Command
On 22 April 2024 USAG-Miami/ USSOUTHCOM are planning US Army Earth Day activities at the facility located at 9301 NW 33rd St, Doral, FL 33172. This event will be attended by military members and civilians stationed at USSOUTHCOM and USAG-Miami as well as approximately 40 preschoolers at our Child Development Center (CDC).
The urgency of the protection of our environment now not only a hot-button issue but a very distinct reality. The aim of the event is to educate as much as possible all members of our community on helpful ways that we can minimize our carbon footprint, conserve our water resources, and cut down on the amount of waste per person. We are asking- and we realize it may be a big ask- for as much participation as possible and practicable from local utilities and solid waste disposal as we can get.
