10th Annual 5k Memorial Hike

SRQ VETS is hosting the 10th Annual Memorial Day 5K hike to honor the fallen heroes who made the ultimate sacrifice.

This event will work to unite the local veteran and civilian communities while raising funds to support SRQ VETS and their efforts to help the local veterans.

SRQ VETS is a 100% volunteer veteran-run 501c3 whose mission is to find resources and get them to our local veterans and their families

The hike will start at JD Hamel War Memorial Park then over the Ringling Bridge, then back to the Park for an afternoon of fun that includes a cookout, Live music, and inflatables

A $35 donation when you pay in advance or a $ 40 donation after online ticket sales are over; online ticket sales end 5/14/2025.

Every paid participant 21 yrs. of age and older will receive 1 event t-shirt, 1 lunch ticket, and 1 beverage ticket.

Every paid participant that is 13 to 20 yrs. old will receive 1 event t-shirt, 1 lunch ticket, and 1 non-alcoholic beverage ticket.

Children 12 and under are free & will receive 1 lunch ticket and 1 non-alcoholic beverage ticket.

Co-Founder Mark Pinilla Travels to Washington DC.

Mark Pinilla, Co-Founder of Vet Info, recently traveled to Washington, D.C., for an important training session and promotional activities aimed at advancing the mission of Vet Info. The organization, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, was established to provide vital support to veterans by offering resources in the areas of information, advocacy, and education. Through this trip, Pinilla sought to enhance the visibility of Vet Info, ensuring that more veterans have access to the tools and guidance they need to navigate the challenges they face.

He also forges strong business relationships with his natural networking ability and is relentlessly driven to serve and inspire others. He has achieved greater purpose in his career as a Certified Trainer for NAHREP (National Association of Hispanic Real Estate Professionals) and as a trainer for the Miami Association of REALTORS®, and he’s always open to speaking opportunities. Mark will also be serving on the NAHREP South Florida Board of Directors as the Co-Educational Director in 2025.
