DESCRIPTION:On 22 April 2024 USAG-Miami/ USSOUTHCOM are planning US Army Earth Day activities at the facility located at 9301 NW 33rd St\, Doral\, FL 33172. This event will be attended by military members and civilians stationed at USSOUTHCOM and USAG-Miami as well as approximately 40 preschoolers at our Child Development Center (CDC). \n  \nThe urgency of the protection of our environment now not only a hot-button issue but a very distinct reality. The aim of the event is to educate as much as possible all members of our community on helpful ways that we can minimize our carbon footprint\, conserve our water resources\, and cut down on the amount of waste per person. We are asking- and we realize it may be a big ask- for as much participation as possible and practicable from local utilities and solid waste disposal as we can get.
